But more back in the days with new artists, a label would sign them, they develop them a brand new artists, and they'd release a single single would get sent to radio, radio would play and hopefully all that good stuff. And they'd start having the artists you know start building up anticipation for a full length album. And usually a single maybe it would be you know, released a month or two before the album just to get people hungry for the full album, full album comes out people buy it up. Now we live in a different age. Now, this method is still being done. But more for established artists who have a humungous fan base, they could still pull this off, no problem, because they'll always have those core fans that will buy pretty much anything they put out. Now, what should you pay for a feature, obviously, you want to get your money worth for a feature, you want to get your you want to get a return on investment basically. So if you're going to shell out this amount of money to get a feature from this artist, you damn well want to make sure it's totally worth it, you're going to get streams out of this sales, more recognition, all that good stuff. Now, if you're just doing collaborations or features with, you know, another musician or another artists, if you're a hip hop artist or r&b, whatever. And if there's someone just as local as you, you really got to think is it worth paying them if they're on the same level as you at their local or regional whatever, I wouldn't pay them for a feature.
